Today I want to give you a little intro into the book of acts. I really love the stories of the disciples and how God moved through them. May it inspire you!!

We hope you had a fantastic week!! If not start remembering all the good moments you had that will help you to get perspective.
All 3 of us are doing well here in San Francisco. I am back at things since last week and it has been a bit different with Caleb around. He sometimes just wants to be held and who could deny such a wish 🙂 ! So sometimes he is in his carrier on my chest while i am working on the computer!
This coming season is also really exciting with multiple love your neighbor workshops coming up with churches in the San Francisco area. We are also doing a few more things with our neighborhood church which is exciting! Pray for wisdom for us in this season on how to get things done!
And as we saw in the book of acts Jesus called each one of us to the great commission. Step into it by loving your neighbor and neighborhood and by being a genuine friend to them.

Heute möchte ich dir ein kleines Intro in das Buch der Apostelgeschichte geben. Ich liebe die Geschichten der Jünger und wie Gott durch sie wirkte und das Evangelium in die Welt brachte. Möge dieser Video Blog dich inspirieren.
Hallo unser Freund/in
Wir hoffen du hattest eine super Woche!! Falls nicht erinnere dich an all die guten Momente die du hattest das hilft dir Perspektive zu behalten.
Uns dreien geht es gut hier! Seit letzter Woche bin ich wieder voll dabei wenn dies mit Caleb auch ein wenig anders aussieht. Aber wer kann einem kleinen Baby einen Wunsch abschlagen gehalten zu werden. Manchmal habe ich ihn vorne mit einer Trage angeschnallt waehrend ich am Computer arbeite und dies klappt ganz gut!
Diese naechste Zeit ist spannend fuer uns da wir mehrere Love your Neighbor Workshops mit Kirchen im Umkreis von San Francisco haben. Wir arbeiten auch mit unserer lokalen Gemeinde mehr zusammen um auch dort die Gemeindeglieder anzuleiten und zu ermutigen ihre Nachbarn zu lieben! Betet fuer Gottes Leitung fuer uns in dieser Zeit!
Und wie wir auch in der Apostelgeschichte sahen, Jesus hat jeden einzelnen zum Missionsbefehl berufen. Fang an in dem du deinen Nachbarn und deiner Wohngegend seine liebe zeigst und ein wahrer Freund bist.

I promise, for those who don’t like math, this blog is not about that kind of numbers. No its about the book of Numbers which gives a lot of inside in the amount of people from each tribe of Israel and how they stepped into different challenges. We hope it gives you a little bit an inside in the book and encourages you.
Finally i get to tell you here about the birth of our little boy Caleb Heinz Theophilus. He was born March 28th. He brings so much joy to us and many of our neighbors that have seen him so far through our window!

When Israel left Egypt they became a new society in a sense. But to have a society work well together and live under Gods ways you have to have rules and leaders that live them. The book of Leviticus is talking about that. It also laid a healthy foundation for the people that were exposed and shaped by not the not most godly things in Egypt. Be inspired by it!
We are on the third months of our bible journey and this month we are looking at the gospel of Luke. Be encouraged and inspired!

Heute wollen wir in unserem Video Blog ein wenig die Geschichte von 2. Moses mit euch anschauen und einen kleinen Überblick über dieses Buch geben. Sei ermutigt!
The bible is such an exciting book but many don’t get to actually read it. That is why we decided to give you twice a month a short intro into a book in the old and a book in the new testament. We will share with you some inside into the book and then some things that stuck out to us. Then its your job to read the book and let God speak to you through it. May you get encouraged through the bible. Today we are looking at the gospel of Mark!
Die Bibel ist ein so spannendes Buch aber oftmals kommen viele nicht dazu sie zu lesen. Deshalb haben wir beschlossen euch 2mal im Monat einen kleinen Einblick in ein Buch vom alten und in ein Buch vom neuen Testament zu geben. Wir geben euch einige Details über das Buch und dann ein wenig was zu uns gesprochen hat. Dann ist es eure Aufgabe das Buch zu lesen und Gott dadurch zu euch sprechen zu lassen. Mögest du dadurch ermutigt werden!! Heute schauen wir uns das Markus Evangelium an.

I love reading through it since the book has so many stories and foundational things. Spend some time to study it!!

Ich liebe dieses Buch da so viele Grundlagen unseres Glaubens darin liegen und auch das es sehr viele bekannte Geschichten enthält. Verbring ein wenig Zeit darin zu studieren!!

Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a greater understanding of the bible and the context of things? Wouldn’t it even be better if you would have read through the whole book? Join us for the next 29 months to do that. Every month we will look at a book from the old and from the new testament with a time of 2 weeks in between to read it. I will post a video on it with different things about the book so you have some idea what it’s about before you start reading. Then you will read the book with someone you know (it doesn’t have to be at the same time or the same place) so you can share with each other what stuck out to you. This can be done via WhatsApp group or how ever, you want to connect. WE will start next week!
Wäre es nicht super ein besseres verstehen von der Bibel und den verschiedenen Zusammenhängen zu haben? Wäre es nicht noch besser wenn du die ganze Bibel gelesen hättest? Begleite uns hier für die nächsten 29 Monate und du kannst genau dies tun. Jeden Monat schauen wir uns ein Buch im neuen und im Alten Testament an mit einer 2 woechigen Zeit dazwischen um es zu lesen. Ich werde hier auf dem Blog ein Video posten mit einem Überblick über das Buch und Dinge die zu mir gesprochen haben, damit du ein wenig eine Idee hast um was es geht. Dann wirst du das Buch mit jemand zusammen lesen (das muss nicht zur gleichen Zeit oder am gleichen Ort sein) das ihr euch gegenseitig mit euren Gedanken und was zu euch gesprochen hat austauschen könnt. Dies könnt ihr über eine WhatsApp Gruppe tun oder wie ihr sonst miteinander in Verbindung sein wollt. Wir werden nächste Woche anfangen!
