We hope you had a wonderful week. During this week we had a vision meeting to see where we are at and what God has done in this last season but also to look at where we are going and what we need to do to get there. It is amazing to see how God is moving things forward and how he answers prayers.  Please keep praying for us and the ministry to stay in step with what God is calling us to do. Any fulltime ministry always comes with a cost. For Jen and me it is the cost of San Francisco. City ministry is expensive, but in the same way really needed since more and more people in the world live in cities. Consider joining our support team. We still have a way to go, but we are praying for that by January next year we are fully funded through committed monthly support. Great Commission possible

When we think about the great commission it can be become really overwhelming. The world has about 7 billion people and about 640 million out of those are Christians. Yes that seems like a big amount of people to reach. But reality is if every Christian brings the gospel to 11 people the job is done. That doesn’t seem too hard anymore right. But how can we do that?

Jesus told us in Matthew 28.18-20 to go to all the nations. So that sounds first that you need to go overseas to be able to share the gospel, but that is not totally true. He said all the nations. You are already in a nation, you already have coworkers that don’t know him and of course you have neighbors that live right around you that many times don’t know him either. Why don’t you start right were you are at? If you know 11 people that don’t know Jesus bring the gospel to them. If you don’t know 11 people that don’t know Jesus, find them! You can use the concept God gave us (Just click on the link and read the 11 part series on our blog. This link gets you to the first one and then just keep clicking to the next one at the bottom of the blog page) or use whatever way God is giving you. You might think 11 people don’t seem very significant in the bigger picture, but if each Christian thinks that way we are not moving forward. Mother Teressa said once:

“Not all of us can do great things. But all of us can do small things with great love.”

So lets start loving people like in 1. Corinthians 13 and through that show them the gospel in action and give them a hunger for Jesus!! Start today!!

Wir hoffen das du eine wunderbare Woche hattest. Wir hatten diese Woche ein Vision Meeting um zu sehen wo wir gerade mit der Arbeit sind, was Gott bisher getan hat, wo wir hingehen wollen und was wir dafür tun müssen. Es ist genial zu sehen wie Gott in vielen Bereichen wirkt und Gebet beantwortet. Bitte bete weiterhin für uns und die Arbeit das wir mit Gott und seinem Zeitplan weiter vorwärts gehen. Vielen Dank fürs mitbeten.

Jede Vollzeit Missionsarbeit hat Kosten. Für Jen und mich sind es die Kosten für San Francisco. Stadt Mission ist teuer aber gleichen falls sehr wichtig, da mehr und mehr Menschen weltweit in Städten leben. Erwäge Teil unseres Spenden Teams zu werden. Wir haben noch eine Strecke vor uns, aber wir beten dafür das wir bis Januar die komplette Unterstützung durch monatliche Unterstützer haben. Dieses Jahr haben wir einige monatliche Unterstützer verloren, und um dieses Ziel zu erreichen brauchen wir noch $2852 mehr monatlich. Der Missionsbefehl ist möglich

Wenn wir an den Missionsbefehl denken kann uns der Gedanke daran überwältigen. Die Welt hat ca. 7 Milliarden Menschen und ca. 640 Millionen davon sind Christen. Ja das klingt nach einer großen Menge Menschen die wir erreichen sollen. Aber in der Realität ist es eigentlich gar nicht so schwierig, da dies heißt das jeder Christ das Evangelium nur zu 11 Menschen bringen muss. Aber wie machen wir das?

Jesus hat uns in Matthäus 28 den Auftrag gegeben in die Nationen zu gehen. Das klingt zuerst als ob du in weit entfernte Länder gehen musst um das Evangelium weiterzugeben, aber dies stimmt nicht ganz. Er sagte alle Nationen. Du bist bereits in einer Nation, du hast bereits Kollegen die Ihn nicht kennen und ganz klar du hast Nachbarn die direkt neben dir leben die Ihn oftmals auch nicht kennen. Wieso faengst du nicht an dort wo du bist? Wenn du 11 Menschen kennst die Jesus nicht kennen bring das Evangelium zu Ihnen. Falls du nicht 11 Menschen kennst die Jesus nicht kennen, finde sie. Du kannst das Konzept verwenden das Gott uns gab (Klicke einfach auf diesen Link und lese dich durch die 11 teilige Serie. Dieser Link bringt dich zum ersten Teil und dann kannst du dich immer am Ende des Blogs zum nächsten weiter klicken) oder jeden Weg den dir Gott persönlich zeigt. Du denkst dir vielleicht das 11 Menschen keinen so großen Unterschied im Gesamtbild machen, aber wenn jeder Christ so denkt bewegen wir uns nicht vorwärts. Mutter Teresa sagte einmal:

„Nicht jeder von uns kann große Dinge tun. Aber jeder von uns kann kleine Dinge mit Liebe tun.“

Lasst uns beginnen Menschen so zu lieben wie in 1. Korinther 13 und lasst uns ihnen dadurch das Evangelium in Aktion zeigen und ihnen dadurch einen Hunger für Jesus geben!! Fange heute damit an!!
