WE hope you had some time to look at the different areas in your neighborhood in which help is needed. This week we want to write about on how to be strategic in moving forward in those areas.

1. Time: This is a really important point to plan a successful strategy. Think about how much time you want to invest each week. Plan realistically and don’t forget the areas that already use time in your planning(Family time, Church, Hobbies, Rest). Also think about how long you would like the project to go 1 year, 5 years etc.
2. What do you need? In order to have a good strategy you need to realistically asses the things you have and the things you need. As an example, if you start helping out at a project that already exists you don’t need a lot. Or if you start picking up trash in your neighborhood all you need is some gloves and a trash bag. But if you are tackling a bigger thing, you might need more people and resources. Also think about if you can work on this project together with your family. Ok start thinking about what you need!
3. Come up with a plan! Now you are at a point in which you have planned for resources and time but you haven’t come up with a schedule. To move things forward it is always important to have a plan, since often things that are not planned moved back on the priority list and eventually are forgotten. Write in your calendar the times that you want to do the work. Write down what you plan to do in those times, as an example: Thursday April 30^th 5-6pm Prayer time for the new project, 6-8pm Work on the project, pick up trash on Ellis street.
   As more detailed you plan, as more you can make a difference. But really important, planning should always come out of praying. It is really important to get Gods heart and His plan! We often saw how God gave us different strategies then we planned during times of Prayer.

We hope you had a wonderful week. We had an event with a local neighborhood association we are involved with. During the evening the new President was elected and different other board members for various roles. Jen is still part of the board in her role as the social event planner. Please pray that we can keep being a blessing in every part we are involved.

Wir hoffen das du Zeit hattest die verschiedensten Bereiche zu finden in denen Hilfe gebraucht wird. In dieser Woche wollen wir darüber schreiben wie wir nun strategisch etwas unternehmen können.

1. Zeit: Dies ist ein sehr wichtiger Punkt für die Planung einer erfolgreichen Strategie. Überlege dir wieviel Zeit du pro Woche investieren kannst. Plane realistisch und vergiss nicht deine anderen Verpflichtungen in der Planung (Zeit mit Familie, Gemeine, Hobbies, Ruhe). Ueberlege dir auch ob du ein Zeitlimit setzen moechtest, z.b. 1 Jahr, 5 Jahre etc.
2. Was brauchst du? Um eine gute Strategie aufzustellen musst du dir realistisch überlegen was du zum Anfangen hast und was du brauchst. Wenn du z.B. anfängst bei einem bestehenden Projekt mitzuhelfen, brauchst du nicht sehr viel um zu starten. Oder wenn du anfängst deine Wohngegend wohnhafter zu machen indem du Müll entfernst den Menschen achtlos weggeworfen haben, brauchst du außer Handschuhen und einem Müllsack nicht viel. Wenn du allerdings ein größeres Problem angehst, brauchst du unter Umständen wesentlich mehr Ressourcen oder Leute. Überlege dir auch ob du an diesem Projekt zusammen als Familie arbeiten kannst. Also überlege dir was du brauchst.
3. Mache einen Plan. Nun bist du an einem Punkt an dem du Zeit und Ressourcen geplant hast aber noch keinen genauen Zeitplan. Um etwas vorwärts zu bewegen musst du dir einen Plan erstellen. Es ist wichtig dies zu tun, da oftmals ohne einen Plan diese Dinge in den Hintergrund verschoben werden und dann irgendwann vergessen werden. Plane in deinen Kalender die Zeiten an denen du etwas machen möchtest. Schreibe auf was du in diesen Zeiten machen möchtest. Hier ein Beispiel: Donnerstag 30. April 17-18 Uhr Gebetszeit für das neue Projekt, 18-20uhr Arbeit am Projekt: Müll aufsammeln Straße so und so.
   Je genauer du planst desto mehr kannst du einen Unterschied machen. Aber ganz wichtig, die Planung sollte immer im Gebet stattfinden, damit du Gottes Herz bekommst und seinen Plan siehst. Wir haben oftmals gesehen wie Gott in dieser Zeit uns andere Strategien gibt als wir geplant haben.

Wir hoffen das du eine wunderbare Woche hattest. Wir hatten in dieser Woche eine Veranstaltung mit einer der Nachbarschaftsorganisationen mit denen wir zusammen arbeiten. An diesem Abend wurde der neue Präsident gewählt und verschiedene neue Leiter für die verschiedensten Bereiche. Jen ist weiterhin dabei. Betet dafür das wir weiterhin ein Segen sein können für die verschiedensten Bereiche in denen wir aktiv sind.
