How are you?
All of our health is improving. Thank you God! Jen is fully recovered, Caleb still has a cough and I am almost better from the cough. Thank you for praying for us. But isn’t it great that if you have multiple people in the family that some can go out and still encourage others. Jen was able to do that this week and could encourage a few people with some of them going through a hard season. And even with being sick we can still pray and do things from the bed which is a blessing. It reminds me of how Paul said that in his weakness Christ is strong. God is our strength!
We also want to encourage you this week with the words from the video to trust God and be ok with waiting. Ask him what he has for you in waiting times.

Wie geht es dir?
Uns geht es besser wie letzte Woche. Danke Gott! Jen ist vollständig genesen, Caleb hat immer noch Husten und mir geht es fast besser vom Husten. Vielen Dank, dass du für uns gebetet hast. Aber ist es nicht toll, dass, wenn man mehrere Personen in der Familie hat, einige rausgehen und andere trotzdem ermutigen können? Das ist Jen diese Woche möglich gewesen und sie konnte ein paar Menschen ermutigen, von denen eine in einer schwierigen Zeit ist. Und selbst wenn wir krank sind, können wir vom Bett aus beten und Dinge tun, was ein Segen ist. Es erinnert mich daran, wie Paulus sagte, dass Christus in seiner Schwäche stark ist. Gott ist unsere Stärke!
Wir möchten dich diese Woche auch mit den Worten aus dem Video ermutigen, Gott zu vertrauen und mit dem Warten ok zu sein. Frage Ihn, was er für dich in den Wartezeiten hat.

This weeks blog are some thoughts about Loren Cunningham, one of our heroes of faith, who just passed away. Through his obedience to God and laying down his life as well as his humbleness God changed the world through him. He started Youth with a Mission which then over time turned into a mission organization that had an impact in the whole world and many people got to hear the gospel cause of it. 
Der Blog dieser Woche enthält einige Gedanken über Loren Cunningham, einer unserer Glaubens Helden, der gerade verstorben ist. Durch seinen Gehorsam gegenüber Gott und die Hingabe seines Lebens sowie durch seine Demut veränderte Gott durch ihn die Welt. Er gründete Jugend mit einer Mission, welche über die Jahre eine große Missionsorganisation wurde die auf der ganzen Welt Menschen die Gute Nachricht brachte. 
When Jesus called us to love our neighbor, he gave us a task that is possible for each one of us and is also a blessing for each one of us. Many people around us might feel isolated or don’t feel a sense of belonging (maybe including us), and each one of us can bring change to that. You will see how loving your neighbor will change those things and also the relationships but also how it will give you a greater love for the people around you. It will leave a great impact and it builds a strong and lasting community for your neighbors and you as well to just name a few things. When I think back to last year and how the pandemic affected everyone around the world we saw more and more 1. the need of bringing God’s love to our local places and 2. How important it is to be connected with our neighbors. We got reminded of the call from Jesus also because our neighborhoods were the only places we could go to. So let’s all do this together starting today to take Jesus seriously and love our neighbor. We will give you a monthly tip with how to establish that relationship and love your neighbors in a practical way and then we will all put it into action with the neighbors right around us. And then watch how over time your neighborhood will change! You, me, and all of us can do it so let’s do it!!
