One of the things I got to do during last week was going on a walk with a new neighbor friend. Its so special since during those times you get into real good conversation and get to know each other more. I want to encourage you to go on a walk with one of your neighbors to connect with them!
We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier CS Lewis. What giftings do you think God has given you and how can you use them for the kingdom?

Hello our friend
We hope you had a wonderful week!
It was so great being part of celebrating one of our neighbors last Sunday. He created an email list years ago and sends out emails with questions or things that are going on, in our specific area. He helped people to connect or share things that someone might not need anymore and someone else would really love to have. Jen and I benefited from this list multiple times by asking for a specific item like a lamp and neighbors reaching out to us with that. But that aside I love that he got recognized and encouraged in what he does. Are there people in your neighborhood that are a blessing to many? If so think about a way to recognize them, even if its just through a simple thank you or a little gift.
One reminder from the video at the end: Ask God for help when you come into a moment of temptation. Also make sure to walk away from the situation. And don’t forget if you fell in that area ask for forgiveness and receive the grace of Jesus!!
God bless you
Markus, Jen and Caleb
During last week I got to connect with the leaders of the different YWAM Bay area ministries. It was such a wonderful time of sharing and praying for each other. Every time we have those I leave encouraged. Do you have a group of people you pray with? If not start looking for other believers and start to get together and pray!!
We also hope you got encouraged through Camerons story! Ask God if he calls you to be a part of translating the bible orally into your dialect. If he calls you to do that you can do multiple things: You can pray for the ones who translate, you can help translate or you can support financially.
[:en]Today’s video is about Reconciliation in Matthew 5.21-24. Be inspired!
Hello our friend
We hope you had a wonderful week!
In the last season Jen put Caleb to sleep at night. That gives me most evenings about 45 mins to just go out on a walk and listen to worship music and also pray. Its always such a refreshing time. Sometimes during those times God opens up short opportunities to have a short conversation with a neighbor friend and bring a short encouragement. I love it when He does that.
You see it doesn’t necessarily need extra time to love your neighbor you can just do it while you are going on a walk around your neighborhood anyway!! If you don’t go on walks around your neighborhood yet, I highly encourage you to do that!!
One reminder from the video at the end: Ask God to search your heart and show you who you have to reconcile with and ask for forgiveness. Then take the fist steps towards them and do it!!
God bless you
During the last week many people from all over the country came to San Francisco cause of the Superbowl. It was great to see the downtown area of the city come alive again with all the activity and all the things that were set up for the Superbowl. Even none of us is into football, it is a joy to see the joy in other people’s faces and their excitement. Looking at how alive downtown was is a reminder to how God can bring dead things back to life. If there is anything dead in your life bring it to him!!
We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Corrie ten Boom. If you hit a roadblock don’t give up keep going and keep leaning into God!

Hello our friend
We hope you had a wonderful week!
This week I had a meeting with a wonderful Pastor from our city about an upcoming retreat we are sharing at about loving your neighbor. Its always so great getting to know others in ministry and encourage each other. We all need encouragement so lets find time this week to encourage someone in your life!!
One reminder from the video at the end: How can you be a light for Jesus today in the places he placed you?
God bless you
Our week was very admin heavy. To some admin doesn’t sound like too much fun but I really enjoy doing it from time to time. I think it really helps to watch our attitude with how we approach things. If we go at it with an attitude of I get to do this it helps us to find joy in the midst of it and see all the good things in it vs if I go at it with I have to do this the joy is often not there. I want to encourage you to approach things that you feel you have to do with an attitude of I get to do this.
We also hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Corrie ten Boom. If there is someone in your life that you have to forgive ask god to help you. Or if you know someone that can’t forgive pray for them that they will be able to forgive and experience the healing that comes through it.

Hello our friend
We hope you had a wonderful week!
Last week we met a person from a country Jen has visited in the past. Because she has been there it opened up deep conversation and led to the opportunity to pray for them. It was amazing. I love how God uses things from our life in a total different season to connect us with someone on a deeper level. God wants to do the same with you!!
One reminder from the video at the end: Spend time to read through the gospels, especially the words Jesus spoke, and then live them actively.
God bless you

Hallo unser Freund
We hope you had a wonderful week!! This week we dont have a weekly update since we are on a vaca but we hope you got inspired through todays Gospel Carrier Lillian Trasher. Is there something you might have to give up to follow Gods call on your life? Is there something that really touches your heart deeply like for Lillian the orphans that god might call you to? Spend some time praying about that!
[:en]Today’s video is about a way that a resolution can stick. Be encouraged and inspired!
Hello our friend
We wish you a blessed and happy new year!! We hope you had a wonderful start into it!
On New Years Day we baked a few German New year Brezels for some neighbor friends which was a lot of fun. It was a great way to bless our friends with a German new years tradition. Think about how you can bless your neighbors this year and then do it!! Depending when you read this you have about 360 days’ time to do that!
Here is also a quick step by step reminder from the video on how to reach the goal.
set a goal that you are actually excited about: I want to run 15 miles by the end of the year.
Then make it a clear goal that can be measured: goal is being able to run 15 miles by the end of the year.
Then break down the goal in small junks: 1st month week 1 walk 1 mile, week 2 walk a little faster, week 3 jog the mile, week 4 run the mile. Do that for every month.
Then make sure to look back and see how things are going and if you see something isn’t working think about why and make adjustments: I wasn’t able to walk in week 3 cause I had meetings all of those nights I planned to do it, so I moved it to different nights.
Have someone that you can share with about your progress and who can encourage and challenge you.
By the end of the year you will look back and can say that you actually reached the goal!
Now the 3 goals I would like for you to set are:
Set a daily bible reading time. Start a yearly plan on Youversion bible that fits the amount of time you want to read. If you want to read it together with a friend and write each other what spoke to you about the things you read
Have a daily prayer time. Connect with Jesus personally and also let him speak to you through the scriptures you read. Also spend time to pray for others around you!
Put into practice what Jesus called us to do: Love your neighbor! Do something every week were you build and deepen your relationships with your neighbors and that shows them that they are loved. If you need weekly tips follow us on Instagram: Loveyourneighborsf or on facebook: L-y-n
When you start doing that you will look back and notice how much closer you got to Jesus and your neighbors during the year and how your love for others increased!!
God bless you
Woche 1: 1 Meile spazieren
Woche 2: etwas schneller gehen
