Hey our friend

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas week. We had a very international Christmas celebration at our house with people from the neighborhood. We had 2 Greek friends, 1 Iranian friend, one Chinese friend, 1 Italian friend, 1 German and 1 American. It is awesome to see how God brought the nations to us in a small neighborhood of 20.000 people. But by now we are in Pennsylvania spending some time with family and share with different  churches and friends about the work God is doing in San Francisco. Its an exciting season. Please keep us in your prayers that God gives us the right words to share and encourages and challenges people through it.

Thanks to our wonderful North Beach Staff Shane who helps us from Florida with all our webdesign we are officially launching this new and redesigned website. We believe it came out really beautiful. This new site is also mobile friendly so from now on you can read the blog a lot easier on your mobile device.

Like every week I prayed what this weeks blog should be about and I felt God put this topic on my heart. I just finished filming this message and just uploaded it, when I realized that it actually goes exactly along with the verse that stands for the year 2014 (I don’t know if it is a common thing here in the US but in Germany they pick a verse for the year which kind of stands over the whole year).

I believe this message is significant for each one of us. Be challenged and encouraged with this Video Blog.

Hallo unser/e Freund/in

Wir hoffen das Du ein wunderschönes Weihnachtsfest hattest. Wir hatten eine internationale Weihnachtsfeier in unserer Wohnung mit Menschen aus der Gegend. Wir hatten 2 Griechische Freunde, 1 Italienischen Freund, 1 Chinesische Freundin und 1 Iranische Freundin und dann einen Deutschen (mich) und 1 Amerikanerin. Es ist genial zu sehen wie Gott die Nationen zu uns gebracht hat in einem Stadtteil von nur 20.000 Leuten.

Nun sind wir aber schon in Pennsylvania um etwas Zeit mit Jens Familie zu verbringen und dann in verschiedenen Kirchen und Gemeinden über die Arbeit in San Francisco zu berichten. Bete dafür das Gott uns die richtigen Worte schenkt die die Menschen ermutigt als auch herausfordert.

Es gib noch eine weitere spannende Neuigkeit. Ab dem 1. Januar ist es offiziell, unsere neue Internetseite ist da. Da du bereits hier bist, hast du sie ja schon gefunden. Unser North Beach Helfer Shane in Florida hat sie wunderschön gemacht. Die neue Seite ist nun auch für Smartphones und mobile Geräte ausgelegt, das heißt das du von nun an den Blog auch direkt auf deinem Handy lesen kannst!

Noch etwas. Falls du noch zum Jahresende Steuern sparen möchtest oder einfach uns in der Arbeit hier unterstützen möchtest, überlege dir die Arbeit die Gott hier durch uns in San Francisco tut zu unterstützen. Wie in jeder Woche betete ich auch in dieser Woche für ein Thema für den Blog und hatte das Gefühl das mir Gott dieses Thema gab. Als ich dann gerade fertig war mit dem filmen, schneiden und hochladen, realisierte ich das dieses Thema genau zur Jahreslosung fürs Jahr 2014 passt Psalm 73.28. Ich glaube dass dieses Thema für jeden einzelnen von uns wichtig ist. Wir hoffen das dich dieser Video Blog ermutigt und herausfordert.
