[:en]Over the last few weeks we started playing worship music right in the morning in our place. When we started doing that it changed our perspective on the day and our focus went in a deeper way on the presence of God. We were less distracted from life and things that came at us. Another thing we noticed was that our faith and courage increased to reach out to others in other ways.

One situation brought me to a beach in the city and led me to talk to an older wealthy man and help him in a hard situation since he was stuck with a broken down car. I couldn’t fix the car but I helped with everything I could do by standing with him and then trying to find help even to pray that the engine would start. None of the things worked, but finally we got help from a car repair place. I waited with him till they arrived and then said goodbye. I was about to take off when the man came back and told me how me standing with him restored his hope in humanity. I was surprised how something so little could have such a huge impact in someone’s life. It was just the fact of me being present with him and not leaving that brought hope.

So what do you think about how much more of an impact does it have in our life to have the presence of God with us? Spending time in His presence totally changes and transforms us and makes us the people He created us to be. It takes away the thriving and helps us to trust in his abilities and not on what we can do.

We want to encourage you to start to adjust your life in a way that you always walk in his presence. Regular worship and times with Him is a good start to do that!

Hey our friend

What a wonderful week! Last week we launched a small group at our house with focus on spending time in Gods presence with other believers. The first one has been amazing and really encouraging. The time at encouragement group was amazing as well and uplifting for each one that came. Our Saturday brunch with our neighbor friends was also a highlight of the week. I made my first hash browns from scratch and they came out good! We really love our friends around us!

Thank you for all your Prayers for us and this city. You are a huge blessing!!

Markus and Jen[:de]In den letzten Wochen fingen wir unseren morgen damit an Lobpreis Musik in unserer Wohnung abzuspielen. Als wir anfingen dies zu tun sahen wir wie sich unsere Perspektive  zu dem Tag positiver änderte und unser Fokus lag dann tiefergehend auf der Gegenwart Gottes. Wir waren nicht mehr so abgelenkt von den Dingen die oftmals im Leben auf uns zukommen. Eine andere Sache die wir sahen war das unser Glaube wuchs und unser Mut stieg andere auf neuen Wege zu erreichen.

An einem Abend ging ich an den Strand in der Stadt und konnte dort einem reichen älteren Mann beistehen der ein Problem hatte da sein Auto nicht mehr funktionierte.  Ich konnte nicht das Auto reparieren, aber ich half ihm mit dem was ich tun konnte indem ich ihn ermutigte und dann versuchte Hilfe zu finden mit einem Starterkabel. Ich betete über seinen Motor dass er startet. Aber nichts funktionierte aber dann fanden wir endlich Hilfe von einer lokalen Werkstatt die dann jemanden schickte um den Wagen zu starten.  Ich wartete mit ihm bis der Techniker ankam und verabschiedete mich dann. Als ich dann beinahe losfuhr kam der Mann nochmal an mein Fester und sagte mir dann das ich an diesem Abend Seine Hoffnung für die Menschheit wieder hergestellt habe. Ich war überrascht wie eine solche kleine Tat einen so großen Eindruck hinterlassen konnte. Es war nur der Fakt das ich in dieser Zeit in seiner Gegenwart war und nicht wegging welcher ihm Hoffnung brachte.

Was glaubst du wieviel mehr uns die Gegenwart Gottes verändert? Wenn wir Zeit in seiner Gegenwart verbringen werden wir verändert und fangen an so zu werden wie Gott uns geschaffen hat. Es nimmt den Drang nach Erfolg um selber Wert zu finden und baut ein Vertrauen auf seine Fähigkeiten auf und nicht auf das was wir tun können.

Wir möchten dich ermutigen dein Leben so anzupassen das du mehr und mehr Zeit in seiner Gegenwart verbringst. Täglicher Lobpreis und Zeit mit Ihm ist ein guter Anfang!

Hallo unser Freund/in

Was für eine tolle Woche! Wir haben eine Kleingruppe gestartet in der es darum geht Zeit zusammen mit anderen Christen in Gottes Gegenwart zu verbringen. Der erste Abend war super und ermutigend! Die Zeit in der Ermutigungsgruppe war auch super und ermutigend für alle Teilnehmer. Unser Samstags Nachbar Brunch war ein kleines Highlight da ich zum ersten Mal Hash Browns machte und sie echt gut wurden. Es ist einfach super so gute Freundschaften mit unseren Nachbarn zu haben!

Vielen Dank für all deine Gebete für uns und die Stadt hier. Du bist ein großer Segen!!
