Hey our friend

By now we arrived in Germany and also went to the wedding of my brother. Wednesday night we will have an information night at our Church. Please pray for us that God brings people and really encourages and challenges them through our speaking. Pray also for the right words to say. Thanks for all your Prayers.

What is Unconditional?

Unconditional is a word which is hard to understand. When we look around we see that everything in this world has conditions. As an example if you buy a car you get a big list of terms and conditions, like you can only drive so many miles a year or you have to clean it a certain amount of time. Another good example is, when you do this for me i will do this for you. Or even in marriage people put conditions on each other; if you don’t do the dishes I will not take out the trash. Most of the times we don’t speak those conditions out loud but they are in our head and many times they are deeply rooted. It’s hard to find a true example in this world for unconditional. When we look at god and his love for us, we can see that it is unconditional.  The best example is in romans 5.8.: But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  I believe that speaks pretty clearly of the commitment god has to us. He didn’t put any conditions when he send his son to die on the cross.  No he just send him because he loves us so much and wants to see us free.
I want to challenge you to think different this week. God doesn’t put conditions on his love and neither should we. First ask god to give you more of his unconditional love to love others. When you deal with a person at work that is hard to deal with, love them besides all the challenges.  Bring flowers home to your wife just because you love her. Find a person that doesn’t know Jesus and love on them unconditional and don’t look and judge them by their differences.
When we start living this way it will change the perspective of people and they start seeing through us that god loves them no matter where they are at in their life. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to bring change into their life, no god always wants to bring people forward and help them grow.
So take the challenge.

Wir sind nun in Deutschland, was absolut schön ist. Wir hoffen das wir dich in dieser Zeit einmal sehen. In unserer Zeit haben wir 2 Infoabende von der Arbeit hier in San Francisco. Sie sind beide im Gemeindehaus in Hertmannsweiler. Der erste ist am 18. September um 19:30 Uhr (diesen Mittwoch) und der zweite  am 1. Oktober um 19:30 Uhr. Ich (Markus) predige noch beim Herzgottesdienst am 20. Oktober um 10 Uhr im Gemeindehaus.  Bete für uns das Gott uns die richtigen Worte schenkt und viele damit ermutigt.

Was ist Bedingungslos

Bedingungslos ist ein Wort das schwer zu verstehen ist.  Wenn wir uns umschauen sehen wir meistens das alles in dieser Welt an Bedingungen geknüpft ist. Als Beispiel wenn du ein Auto least bekommst du ein riesen Paket mit Bedingungen wie z.B. wie viele Km du im Jahr fahren darfst, wie oft du es in die Werkstatt bringen musst oder wie oft du es putzen musst. Ein weiteres gutes Beispiel ist der Satz wenn du dies für mich tust werde ich dies für dich tun oder dann habe ich einen Gefallen gut bei Dir. Selbst in der Ehe gibt es oftmals Bedingungen wie wenn du nicht das Geschirr wäschst dann bringe ich nicht den Müll raus. Oftmals sprechen wir diese Bedingungen nicht aus sondern haben sie nur in unserem Kopf. Sie haben oftmals tiefe Wurzeln. Es ist schwer Beispiele für Bedingungslos in dieser Welt zu finden. Wenn wir hingegen Gott und seine Liebe anschauen können wir sehen das sie Bedingungslos ist. Das beste Beispiel steht in Roemer 5:8 Wie sehr uns Gott liebt beweist er uns damit, das Christus für uns starb, als wir noch Sünder waren. Ich glaube das dies recht klar von der Verbindung spricht die Gott zu uns hat. Er setzte keine Bedingungen als er seinen Sohn ans Kreuz sandet um zu sterben. Nein er sandte Ihn weil er uns unendlich liebt und uns frei setzen möchte.

Ich möchte dich herausfordern diese Woche anders zu denken. Gott setzt keine Bedingungen für seine Liebe und wir sollten das Gleiche tun. Zuerst bitte Gott darum dir mehr von seiner bedingungslosen Liebe für andere zu geben. Wenn du jemanden bei der Arbeit hast mit dem es schwierig ist zusammen zu arbeiten, liebe diese Person trotz der Herausforderungen. Bringe Blumen für deine Frau nach Hause nur um zu sagen ich liebe dich. Finde einen Menschen der Jesus noch nicht kennt und liebe ihn ohne Bedingungen und richte ihn nicht nach seinen Verschiedenheiten.

Wenn wir anfangen so zu leben fangen wir an die Perspektive von Menschen zu verändern und sie sehen durch uns mehr und mehr das Gott sie liebt ganz egal wo sie in Ihrem Leben stehen. Das heißt nicht das Gott keine Veränderung in ihr Leben bringen möchte, nein Gott möchte immer das wir wachsen und uns vorwärts bringen.  Also nimm die Herausforderung an.
